The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has reaffirmed his commitment and that of the Executive to advance towards the equality of the Roma community in Spain and to combat the discrimination they face on social media. During a commemorative event marking the 600th anniversary of the arrival of the Roma community in Spain, Sánchez highlighted the contribution of this group to the culture and history of the country. Although he mentioned that progress has been made towards equality, he also acknowledged that there is a long way to go.
