Cristina Pedroche has made a bold statement with her outfit on New Year’s Eve, leaving her torso bare, adorned with a necklace of stars and chains, elements she has used in her wardrobe over the twelve years she has been presenting the New Year countdown. Pedroche has been the centre of attention among the presenters from different channels due to her choice of attire, which is linked to a social cause. A few weeks ago, she expressed uncertainty about whether she would dare to wear this design. «Of all the transformations I have experienced, this has been the most difficult. It has required introspection to accept this dress, as it represents an impact,» commented Pedroche. In recent years, the presenter has worked with organisations such as UNHCR, Greenpeace, and UNICEF during the New Year countdown broadcast on Antena 3. In 2025, she has decided to focus her attention on the Spanish Association Against Cancer, supporting patients and their families, as well as promoting research.
