Podemos has begun to approach Yolanda Díaz’s party, showing willingness to form a coalition for the Andalusian elections on 17 May. This change in stance comes after the disappearance of the purple party in Aragón and Castilla y León. Pablo Fernández, Secretary of Organisation and spokesperson for Podemos, announced it last Friday and reiterated it this Monday: they are in favour of a coalition with IU and Sumar in the Andalusian elections under the candidacy Por Andalucía. «What has been communicated is that we wish for that agreement and for that it is necessary to negotiate,» he stated.
