The managing body Adif and the company Renfe have halted the operation of Rodalies and regional trains at the request of the Catalan Government, which has requested that the service not be resumed until they can ensure the safety of travellers and a minimum of normality. «The service is suspended. Trains currently in operation will arrive at their final station. From Rodalies, we express our regret for the situation and offer our apologies,» Rodalies de Catalunya communicated via a message on social media, following another day on the Catalan railway network. This Saturday, Rodalies service began operating partially and with several interruptions, while inspection work on the infrastructure was underway to prevent landslides. However, following a meeting between representatives of the Government, Renfe and Adif, and at the request of the Generalitat, it was decided to suspend the circulation of suburban trains.
