Moscow (EFE).- On Monday, Russia accused Ukraine of a drone attack on the residence of President Vladimir Putin and warned that it might reconsider its position in the peace negotiations. Kiev denied the attack. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that «on the night of 28 to 29 December 2025, the Kiev government carried out an attack using 91 drones against the official residence of the President of Russia in the Novgorod region.» He added that all the drones were eliminated and there were no reported injuries or damages. Lavrov emphasised that this action took place amid negotiations between Russia and the United States to find a solution to the conflict in Ukraine.
