Russia considers the willingness of some European leaders to speak with Putin as a «significant advance».

Moscow.- The Kremlin described today the willingness of certain European leaders to restart dialogue with the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, to discuss a solution in Ukraine. «From our perspective, this already represents a step forward,» said Dmitri Peskov, the president’s spokesman, during his telephone press conference. Peskov responded to a question regarding the attitude of France, Germany, and Italy, who have expressed interest in talking to the Russians to achieve stability in Europe.
