The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has stated that the European Union must move towards a common defence, even without the consensus of the 27 member states. In an interview, he indicated that it is possible to make progress in the integration of several countries towards European Armed Forces and emphasised the importance of having a common defence industry.
