The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has presented a monthly summary on how his administration has improved the lives of Spanish citizens over the past year, through a video in which he asserts that he will continue in 2026 to enhance people’s lives. In the video published on the social network X, Sánchez mentions that Spain is growing, although he also points out that there is much left to achieve and that the Government concluded 2025 in the same way we started, by increasing the purchasing power of Spaniards. The increase in the salaries of public sector workers, decided in December, as well as the rise in minimum pensions and the National Minimum Wage at the beginning of the year, are mentioned.
