The Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, has voiced his concern over the situation following the bombings by the United States and Israel in Iran, urging respect for international law. «Violence breeds disorder,» Albares stated on his profile on social media platform X, emphasising that «reducing tensions and dialogue are the way to peace and stability.» According to sources from the Ministry, there are 158 Spanish citizens in Iran, whom the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised to leave the country following the attacks.
