Pedro Sánchez, the President of the Government, has requested to appear in the plenary session of Congress to communicate the Executive’s position regarding the conflict in the Middle East. His presence is also requested to present the conclusions of the European Council meeting scheduled for 19 March, according to sources from the Government, so it is likely that the session will take place in the last week of the month. The PP has requested Sánchez’s appearance and has demanded that Congress’s approval be sought for the deployment of the frigate Cristóbal Colón to Cyprus.
