The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has requested to appear before the full Congress to provide information about train accidents and the state of the rail service. According to sources from Parliament, a date for the appearance of the head of the Executive has not yet been set, during which he will also address the summits and international meetings, as his request must be evaluated by the Board of the Lower Chamber, which will meet next Tuesday. The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, criticised Sánchez for having «disappeared» and the Government for not providing clarity regarding the railway tragedy in Adamuz (Córdoba), which has caused 45 deaths. Furthermore, he called on him to present himself before Congress. If he did not, he warned that his group would convene an extraordinary session in the Senate.
