In 2025, Spain hosted 96.77 million international tourists, representing a 3.2% increase compared to 2024. This rise sets a new historical record, the third consecutive one, which is also reflected in the generated revenue, reaching 134.712 billion euros. According to data revealed by the National Institute of Statistics, spending by these tourists increased by 6.8% compared to 2024, meaning that 2025 concludes with a growth in spending greater than the increase in the number of travellers arriving in Spain. The industry points out that the increase in spending is due to the improvement in the tourism offer, which partly justifies the rise in prices at establishments. However, growth projections for 2025 are more moderate compared to the previous two years, indicating that the accumulated increases following the pandemic are starting to stabilise towards rates more in line with economic growth. In 2024, Spain received 93.76 million international visitors, generating revenues of 126.143 billion euros.
Spain sets a historic record for international tourists in 2025, with almost 96.8 million.
