Spain will deploy the frigate Cristóbal Colón to Cyprus, alongside the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle and other vessels of the Greek Navy, with the aim of providing air protection and defence to that nation, which has been attacked due to the war in Iran, according to the Ministry of Defence. On Tuesday the 3rd, the frigate joined the Naval Group of the Charles de Gaulle to carry out escort and protection duties in the Baltic Sea.
Spain will send the frigate Cristóbal Colón to Cyprus for air protection and defence.
