Madrid. This Friday, Pablo Bustinduy, the Minister of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and the 2030 Agenda, reaffirmed that Sumar will not accept addressing the housing crisis through tax incentives for property owners. He emphasised that the option for the PSOE is to correct their approach and negotiate the extension of contracts. During a press conference, Bustinduy stated that the 100% exemptions on IRPF for owners who do not increase rents are unjust and ineffective and that they differ from the tax incentives in the Housing Law for areas under market strain. According to Bustinduy, the option in the Housing Law, which he does not support, is unrelated to the proposal put forward by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez.
Sumar will «never» accept tax bonuses for landlords and urges the PSOE to rectify.
