This Tuesday, the streets of Tehran woke up to traffic, businesses operating, and phone lines beginning to reconnect with the rest of the world, after five days of tension, clashes, and protests that have led Iran to face unrest and a challenge to power. Although there is an unofficial type of curfew in the city that causes businesses to close in the evening, the groups of security forces that have been present on the streets of the Iranian capital since Thursday began to diminish in number on Monday afternoon.
