The break in the rain in Andalucía allows for the return home of some of the evacuees.

Cádiz (EFE).- The pause in the rainfall in Andalucía has facilitated the return home of some of the more than 11,000 people evacuated in recent days due to storms in the region. However, rain is expected to return tonight. The 660 residents of Doña Blanca, in El Puerto de Santa María, have been able to return to their homes after leaving them last Thursday out of fear of flooding, as the Guadalete River had reached its highest level at 6.80 metres. By this Sunday, the water level had decreased by thirty centimetres. The return of some of the 350 residents of Ubrique, evacuated on Saturday due to the rising river levels and landslides, has also been allowed. The return of 177 inhabitants of Dúdar, who were evacuated four days ago, has been authorised. The City Council of Córdoba will permit people evacuated from 724 houses in flood-prone areas of the city to return, although 135 homes will remain evacuated due to the situation of the Guadalquivir River.
