The Catalan government will withdraw the budget and ERC will «negotiate to approve them» before the summer.

The government of Salvador Illa has decided to withdraw the budget proposal that was scheduled to be voted on this Friday in the Catalan Parliament, in order to have time for negotiations. ERC has assured its commitment to negotiate for its approval before the summer, according to a joint statement from the socialists and republicans. This agreement, resulting from meetings between the two parties held on Tuesday, provides room for negotiation and prevents Illa’s budget from facing defeat in Parliament this Friday.
