The Central Electoral Board decided to suspend the use of the miDNI and miDGT applications for identifying voters in the elections. This measure will remain in place until the verification of voters’ identity through these systems can be ensured. The PP requested the suspension, due to uncertainties regarding the possibility of verifying the authenticity of the document with a QR code.
