The Civil Guard has concluded the inspection of the railway accident site in Adamuz and has submitted a report to the court, according to the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, at a press conference. The armed body is safeguarding the items found at the site that may be relevant to the investigation into the causes of the accident, which is being conducted by the Montoro court. The number of fatalities has risen to 45, after emergency services discovered two more bodies beneath the Alvia train. These refer to the last two missing individuals that still needed to be located, according to reports from their relatives. So far, autopsies have been carried out and 43 individuals have been identified: 22 women and 21 men, one of whom is a minor. Of these, 40 are Spanish, along with one person from Russia, one from Germany, and one from Morocco.
