The Congress votes on the €5 billion anti-crisis plan to alleviate the consequences of the war in Iran.

This Thursday, Congress will hold a debate and vote on the Government’s decree law that presents an economic response plan to the war in the Middle East, costing €5 billion. The measure is expected to be approved with the backing of Junts and the abstention of the PP, although so far neither group has confirmed their voting decision. The Executive believes that the PP should support the plan, as the tax reductions the party requested have been included. However, PP members think that the decree law is insufficient because it does not include the deflation of the income tax rate.
