The ‘czar’ of the border assures that they will not «renounce» Trump’s migration mission.

Tom Homan, the head of the U.S. border, stated this Thursday in Minneapolis that he has no intention of abandoning President Donald Trump’s immigration mission. He highlighted that in the first four days of his tenure in the city, progress has been made, asserting that the number of federal agents will decrease as people deemed a threat are apprehended. Homan clarified that the withdrawal of troops is contingent upon cooperation and that a criminal behind bars means there are fewer police on the streets. The border ‘czar’ mentioned that during his four days in the area, he has had meetings with local authorities, including the Governor of Minnesota and the Mayor of Minneapolis. He asserted that agreements have already been established for the redistribution of over 3,000 people who were sent to the area, although discussions will need to take place in the coming days on how to implement this.
