Madrid. According to sources from the investigation reported to EFE, 40 people have lost their lives in the train accident in Adamuz. The bodies of the victims have begun to be transferred to the Institute of Legal Medicine of Córdoba. The rescue team is focused on accessing the carriages of the Alvia that plunged and on searching for other victims. Members of the Central Team of Forensic Inspections of the Civil Guard are conducting a search on the tracks and nearby areas of the railway line where the accident occurred, in order to find evidence that will help identify the bodies and clarify the reasons for the rail incident. According to sources from the investigation, the relatives of the victims will not visit these facilities, as they are in the Poniente Sur Civic Centre, where they are receiving support from a team of psychologists.
