The General Directorate of Traffic has lifted the restrictions for heavy vehicles in León, where 840 lorries were accumulated on the A-6 and the AP-66. The Government Sub-delegation announced that the preventive restrictions have been removed and action will be taken according to the usual protocol if necessary. The situation has generated complaints among lorry drivers, who argued that the traffic jams were unjustified. Storm Ingrid continues to affect the roads in the province. A red level is maintained on seven routes and mountain passes, where the use of chains is mandatory. In these sections, a speed limit of 30 kilometres per hour is established and access to private cars is prohibited, allowing only buses and large vehicles.
