Joe Kent, director of the National Counterterrorism Centre of the United States, resigned this Tuesday before President Donald Trump, in protest against the war that his country and Israel are waging against Iran. Kent expressed in a letter addressed to the president that he cannot support the war in Iran and that it does not constitute a threat to the country. He made the decision to resign from his position with immediate effect.
