Brussels.- This Thursday, the Court of Justice of the European Union revoked the European Parliament’s decision to strip Junts leader Carles Puigdemont, as well as former councillors Toni Comín and Clara Ponsatí, of their immunity, on the grounds that the rapporteur who analysed the case did not ensure impartiality. Since the European elections in June 2024, none of the three politicians held a seat in the European Parliament.
