Carlo Angrisano, who was the Secretary General of New Generations, has endorsed his work in the PP’s youth organisation. Alberto Núñez Feijóo’s party maintains that Angrisano had not been active and that the reason behind his resignation is his intention to move closer to Vox. Angrisano remarked that he has been at the helm of the national youth leadership for nine years. This occurred hours after he announced his decision to resign from the PP and sought support for Vox, arguing that Feijóo’s party no longer defends the values for which he joined. Angrisano stated that he feels at peace with his choice, which he has reflected on, given that he has dedicated his adult life to NNGG and has friendships and respected individuals within the party. However, when political differences are excessive and one disagrees with what the party advocates, the right thing to do is to act as he did: resign.
