The Goretti storm has resulted in the death of a man who fell into the sea in San Sebastián, which is under orange alert due to dangerous maritime conditions. At 11:10 this morning, firefighters were informed that someone had fallen into the sea near the Kursaal, and rescue teams found the body in the area of the Paseo de Salamanca. The victim is an elderly man. The search began at the Zurriola breakwater, on the opposite bank of the river. This area is closed to pedestrian traffic, as are the coastal areas of the Donostia capital, due to the bad weather.
