The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government, María Jesús Montero, has stated that the PP has created a controversy regarding the possible return of King Juan Carlos to Spain, describing it as absurd for involving the Royal Household, which shows that the popular party is disoriented. Montero emphasised in an interview with Ser about the comments made by the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, who expressed his desire to return to Spain after having lived in Abu Dhabi.
