The Government has dismissed Ana María Sálomon Pérez, Spain’s ambassador to Israel. The legation will be led by a chargé d’affaires, who will be «at the same level» as the Embassy of Israel in Madrid. Sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have reported that the decision was made at the behest of Minister José Manuel Albares, following deliberation by the Council of Ministers, according to what was published in the Official State Gazette.
