The Government will approve a declaration of affected areas when the storm has ended.

The Government will give the green light to a declaration of areas that have been impacted by bad weather once it is over, which will translate into assistance for the affected individuals, according to the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government, María Jesús Montero. Following a meeting with the Government delegate in Andalusia, Pedro Fernández, to be informed about the actions being implemented due to the storm, Montero emphasised the collaboration between the Spanish Government and the Andalusian Government in implementing measures against the bad weather. Montero indicated that the identification of the affected areas will be included in a royal decree that will be ratified by the Council of Ministers. However, she did not clarify whether this will take place in the meeting next week, as it is necessary to wait for the storm to end and assess the impacted areas.
