The IAEA confirms damage at Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility but does not anticipate radiological danger.

The International Atomic Energy Agency reported damage to the access facilities of the underground uranium enrichment plant in Natanz, Iran, although it emphasised that no radiological consequences are anticipated. The IAEA indicated that the Natanz facility sustained damage during the conflict in June between the United States, Israel, and Iran. Furthermore, the analysis does not suggest the existence of new damage inside the underground complex. The UN nuclear agency notes that no additional impact has been observed at the underground plant, which had been damaged during the June conflict.
