The inspector who has reported being a victim of sexual assault by José Ángel González, former deputy operational director of the National Police, has agreed to receive police protection following the offer made by Gemma Barroso, who holds the position of second-in-command of the acting force. According to sources from the Ministry of the Interior, Commissioner Barroso, deputy director of Human Resources, has contacted the inspector to present this proposal.
