The Israeli armed forces carried out a bombardment on a tunnel used by the group Hezbollah to store weaponry. This occurred as part of attacks on the organisation’s positions in southern Lebanon, according to a military statement. The Israel Defence Forces conducted an additional bombing following previous attacks on hatches used for storing arms. The targeted installation was an underground complex where weaponry was stored, which they consider a violation of the ceasefire agreement in place since November 2024. The Israeli Army claims that the bombed location had been attacked a week earlier, after alerting the Lebanese Armed Forces about the activity in that area. The statement adds that the infrastructure had not been eliminated, prompting a new attack at that location.
