Jerusalem – Tonight, Israel’s Defence Minister, Israel Katz, had a conversation with United States Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, during which he stated that military collaboration between the two nations is transforming history. Katz expressed his condolences for the death of six American soldiers in Kuwait, while Hegseth remarked: «continue to the end; we stand by you.» The United States Senate voted against a resolution that sought to halt military intervention in Iran ordered by Trump, who did not seek Congressional approval. The vote result was 47 votes in favour and 53 against. Hegseth highlighted that the United States has the necessary amount of ammunition to carry out its campaign against Iran and mentioned that the conflict with the Islamic Republic could extend for a period of up to eight weeks.
