Judge Ismael Moreno has summoned the agent Koldo Víctor de Aldama for 4 March, in order for him to deliver an envelope that he claimed was given to him by the interim president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez. This envelope is said to be linked to the Venezuelan state oil company PDVSA and the financing of the PSOE and the Socialist International, led by Pedro Sánchez. The magistrate of the National Court has cited him in the context of an investigation into cash payments within the PSOE to its leaders and employees, amid the possibility that some of these payments could constitute the crime of money laundering. The summons comes after the judge Santiago Pedraz forwarded the statement that Aldama made a few weeks ago in that case, in which he is under investigation and for which he was imprisoned. On that occasion, Aldama, when questioned by the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor Luis Pastor, mentioned the existence of this envelope, which was in the custody of his partner Luis Alberto Escolano, and which the agent has referred to on multiple occasions.
