Huelva.- This afternoon, the royal couple is presiding over the funeral in memory of the victims of the train accident in Adamuz, which began shortly after 18:00 with the national anthem at the Carolina Marín Sports Pavilion in Huelva, which has a capacity of around 5,000 people. King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia have arrived in Huelva to support the families, having visited the accident site on 20 January, which occurred two days earlier and resulted in the death of 45 people, 28 of whom were from Huelva. The arrival of the royal couple at the pavilion took place just minutes before the start of the mass, during which thousands of people queued to enter more than two hours prior to the beginning. Over 300 family members of the victims are present in a reserved area on the court of the Sports Palace, where around 500 chairs have been arranged, provided by the Huelva Provincial Council.
