The meeting between the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and the leader of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has begun at the World Economic Forum in Davos, as reported by the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Presidency, Serhiy Nikiforov. Zelensky had mentioned that three documents negotiated between Kiev and Washington to move towards ending the conflict in Ukraine are almost ready. The White House representative, Steve Witkoff, who will travel to Moscow this Thursday to meet with President Vladimir Putin, stated that only one issue remains unresolved in the negotiations. Ukrainian President Zelensky intends to discuss with Trump the peace negotiations with Russia that the White House is promoting, as well as to advance towards signing agreements with the United States on security guarantees in the post-war period and on investments for the economic recovery of Ukraine.
