Barcelona (EFE).- The Mobile World Congress (MWC) will highlight in its twentieth edition in Barcelona the transition towards an industry where artificial intelligence is integrated into networks, devices, and digital services. The event, which will take place at the Fira de Barcelona, will bring together technology companies from around the world and is expected to attract around 110,000 participants, of whom more than 20% will be executives. The focus will be on the automation of processes through artificial intelligence, connectivity with 5G, and advancements related to 6G. Companies such as Cisco, Deutsche Telekom, Ericsson, Google, Huawei, Intel, Lenovo, LG, Meta, Microsoft, Netflix, Nokia, Qualcomm, Samsung, Telefónica, TikTok, and ZTE will participate in the event showcasing their innovations. The MWC also serves as a platform for technological discussion, where industry figures like Gwynne Shotwell, Tim Berners-Lee, and Kate Darling will gather. The congress will officially begin with a gala dinner at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC), presided over by King Felipe VI.
