The President of the United States, Donald Trump, warned Venezuelans and their interim leader, Delcy Rodríguez, about a second attack while returning to Washington from Florida, where he oversaw the capture of Nicolás Maduro and his wife. Trump requested Rodríguez access to Venezuela’s natural resources and sent warnings to other Latin American nations, arguing national security reasons. He mentioned Greenland, a territory of Denmark, and also made comments about Cuba, Colombia, and Mexico.
