The number of roads affected by the severe weather has decreased to 105, traffic on the A-52 and AP-66 is improving.

A total of 105 roads in the national network are being affected by the snow and ice weather conditions. The A-52 in Ourense and the AP-66 connecting Asturias and León have changed from yellow to green level, according to information provided by the General Directorate of Traffic at five o’clock on Sunday morning. In the main network, there has been an improvement in the conditions of the A-52 motorway in Ourense, between kilometres 112 and 126, as well as on the AP-66 motorway connecting Asturias and León, from kilometre 66 to 141. Both routes have changed from yellow to green level, which indicates that they are passable with caution; however, the ban on overtaking for heavy vehicles remains in effect. A precautionary alert continues on the N-6 as it passes through Madrid and Segovia, from kilometre 49 to 59. Regarding the national network, it is mandatory to use chains on the N-330 and its variants N-330a and N-330b in the Aragonese Pyrenees, specifically between kilometres 664 and 675. The N-260a in Huesca is under yellow level influence between kilometres 464 and 505. The green precaution level is maintained on the N-630 in the provinces of Asturias and León, on the N-525 in Ourense, on the N-141c in Barcelona, as well as in the León passes of San Glorio and Pontón. The DGT suggests checking the situation of the roads before driving and reminds the importance of carrying chains or winter tyres.
