Emergency efforts following the derailment of two trains in Adamuz are focused on reaching the carriages of the Alvia and searching for other possible victims, according to the President of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Juanma Moreno. Moreno has reported that there are deceased individuals who have yet to be accessed and that the current objective is to locate them. He also mentioned the complications in the operations, as the heavy machinery needed to move the carriages does not adapt easily, and there is consideration being given to the possibility of cutting the carriages to reach these individuals. According to Moreno, the current concern lies in the possibility that ICU patients will be able to recover, considering that there are 48 people hospitalised, of whom twelve are in these units, although the outlook is promising. The Civil Guard is conducting DNA analyses in Córdoba, Huelva, and Málaga. Teams of psychologists are collaborating to provide support to the families of the victims and to those who have no information about their loved ones. Moreno highlighted the collaboration taking place and expressed his gratitude to the residents of the town of Adamuz for their involvement.
