The Prosecutor’s Office has requested that the complaint against the judge overseeing the criminal case related to the handling of the storm in Valencia in 2024 and her husband for various crimes be dismissed, arguing that the described events do not meet the threshold for a criminal offence. Lawyer Rubén Gisbert filed a lawsuit with the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community, accusing crimes such as coercion, revelation of secrets, usurpation of public functions, breach of duty, concealment, and omission of the duty to pursue certain crimes, in addition to requesting the annulment of the proceedings. The Provincial Prosecutor’s Office of Valencia reported that the prosecutor submitted a report regarding this complaint, concluding that the elements constituting the aforementioned crimes are not present.
