Madrid. This Thursday, the Supreme Court will evaluate whether former Transport Minister José Luis Ábalos and his former advisor Koldo García should remain in preventive detention, where they have been since 27th November, due to the trial concerning illegal commissions related to mask contracts. Judges Antonio del Moral, Juan Ramón Berdugo, and Pablo Llarena are analysing the appeals filed by Ábalos’s lawyers and his ex-advisor against their imprisonment in two private sessions, which will be rejected by the popular prosecution led by the PP.
