The Supreme Court judge, Leopoldo Puente, has sent a part of the Koldo case related to fraud in the awarding of public contracts to the National Court, in which former PSOE Organisation Secretaries, José Luis Ábalos and Santos Cerdán, are under investigation. Judge Puente has issued an order establishing the loss of jurisdiction in this case due to Ábalos’s resignation as a deputy. This means that he has lost his status as a member of Parliament, being the only one who held that status in this matter, which justified the continuation of the investigation in the Supreme Court.
