Los Ángeles (EFE).- The United States has detained Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, during an offensive in Venezuela that impacted several states and the capital, Caracas, under the direction of President Donald Trump. The president announced on his Truth Social account that his country has carried out an operation against Venezuela and its leader, Nicolás Maduro, who, along with his wife, has been detained and removed from the country. The president addressed a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida to provide details about the operation led by American forces. Trump issued his message nearly four hours after reports of attacks in various areas of the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, as well as in the states of Miranda, Aragua, and La Guaira, according to the Venezuelan government.
