The US Secretary of Defence, Pete Hegseth, stated that the armed forces of his nation have annihilated Iran’s submarine fleet and have caused damage to the military ports of the Islamic Republic, as part of the war they are waging alongside Israel against Tehran. Hegseth declared that Iran’s surface fleet has ceased to be a significant element and confirmed that, in almost three weeks of conflict, they have damaged or sunk more than 120 of its warships. Additionally, he mentioned that their submarines, which once numbered eleven, are no longer present.
