This Monday, General Dan Caine, who leads the United States Joint Chiefs of Staff, stated that an investigation is underway regarding the friendly fire incident that affected three F-15 fighter jets during the US operation against Iran. Caine asserted that the crews are safe and that it was not an enemy attack. The US Central Command (Centcom) reported that the three military aircraft that crashed in Kuwait did so by accident due to friendly fire from Kuwaiti forces. During a confrontation involving Iranian aircraft attacks, ballistic missiles, and drones, the US Air Force fighters were involved. Centcom indicated that they were accidentally shot down by Kuwait’s air defenses in a report on the incident involving three F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jets that were part of Operation Epic Fury against Iran.
