The Central Operative Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard has indicated in a report the involvement of the former president of Adif, Isabel Pardo de Vera, in the mask contract with the company Soluciones de Gestión, which is being investigated in the Koldo case. The UCO has sent a report to the judge of the Koldo case, to which EFE has had access, that examines the devices confiscated from Pardo de Vera during the searches related to the investigation of irregularities in the awarding of public works. Based on the investigation, the UCO concludes that her participation in the mask purchase contracts awarded to Soluciones de Gestión for Adif and State Ports was more significant than she stated in her testimony on 21 February 2024, in which, according to the Civil Guard, as a witness she was obliged to tell the truth.
