The UN estimates that the war in Iran could cost Arab countries up to 6% of their GDP.

Cairo.- This Tuesday, the United Nations Development Programme estimated that the conflict in the Middle East could result in a decrease of between 3.7% and 6% in the total gross domestic product of Arab countries, which would equate to a loss of up to 194 billion dollars. The regional office of the UN agency noted in a preliminary report published this Tuesday that the mentioned losses exceed the total regional GDP growth achieved in 2025.
