The USA claims it has targeted 5,500 objectives in Iran and aims to protect the Strait of Hormuz.

Miami (USA), (EFE).- In 12 days of conflict, the United States Army has carried out attacks against more than 5,500 targets in Iran, including over 60 vessels. This effort aims to put an end to Iranian attacks in the Strait of Hormuz, according to statements by the U.S. Central Command. The U.S. Armed Forces, which have 50,000 troops deployed in the Middle East, conducted bombings in Iran almost hourly on Tuesday, as stated by Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of CENTCOM, in a video. During these operations, four Soleimani warships were destroyed. Additionally, soldiers attacked a missile factory that same night, leading Cooper to declare that the Army has dismantled these weapons, as well as Iranian drones and their defence infrastructure.
